What Disrupt Technology Venture stands for
At Disrupt, we believe that it only takes an individual to ignite a change that leads to bigger change in a community and our society. With our three pillars “entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation” as the core of who we are, we strive to build an ecosystem and be a platform that makes change in 3 levels: individual, community, and society.
We believe entrepreneurship is a core in this continuous disruption era. In order to push for change, one must be willing to go beyond the comfort zone, seek for opportunities, and take risks. The world is changing more rapidly than ever, an entrepreneurial mindset is needed to move with it.
We strive to build leaders who can lead in crisis and in times of change. Titles or positions do not make someone a leader. Leadership begins with empathy and action. What matters most is what you do and how you do it.
Innovation is the heart of disruption. We believe in encouraging, exploring, and incubating new ideas, methods, technology, or products that could create positive impact and shape new possibilities in the world.
Compassionate leader is empathetic, thoughtful and caring. He or she is not afraid to be vulnerable, always shows up fully, and leaves ego at door.
Conscientious leader is impact-driven and purposeful. He or she has a high sense of responsibility and ownership towards his or her communities and can always be relied on to do the right thing.
Courageous leader is not afraid of change. He or she is adaptable and is always open to new ideas and innovations.
The future is collaboration. Disrupt believes in building a community, a space, an ecosystem where support happens, where knowledge is shared, and where synergy occurs. We strive to embed the sense of community in all sizes: big or small. Community helps each other to achieve results and success. We celebrate differences and embrace all kinds of diversity. Together is better.
There’s no second planet. Disrupt strives to minimize negative impact and maximize positive environmental and societal impact on this planet. Starting from education, our Stormbreaker Venture fund supports edtech startups as we believe education is the solution to many ongoing issues. Collectively, we can create a big impact that shapes the life of many others.
Disrupt bridges the gap between startups, SMEs and corporates, creating a community of transformative business leaders that work together to drive positive changes to the communities.
